An Airport? Nah, it comes with a waterfall

Singapore will greet you with its niceties from a get go when you arrive at the airport. Touted as the best airport in the world, you will find almost everything under one roof – food, shops, spas, hotels and it doesn’t end there. There’s a mesmerising indoor waterfall that will take your breath away.

Tips : Grab that juicy lobster at "Burger & Lobster Jewel" and enjoy the view of the waterfall at the same time. Don't forget to take a snap or two.

The MBS

If you only have time to visit one place in singapore, this should be it. A hotel with an infinity pool, a mall with branded luxuries, restaurants of international delicacies, bars with a view, a casino & a nightlife (marquee club). Besides, just across MBS lies gardens by the bay with its attractions & numerous insta-worthy spots.

Be it exploring umpteeth diversities of plant life around the word, or seeking adventure to delve into elevated cloud forest or dining on top of a supertree that dances with musical lights, this is where you can indulge your fancy.  Basically, it’s a garden with flora, fauna with a touch of the future! Take your time to check out every nook and cranny as many insta-worthy spots lie in wait.

Shopping

Singapore is a true paradise for every shopaholic. You will find shopping malls at every corner in this island, especially along orchard road where the sky-high malls stretch till your eyesight ends. That means you gotta walk till your legs drop too. 

Tips: Get membership at some of the shopping malls as they usually have offers & freebies for members 

SIP WITH A STYLE

Having a high tea in a posh hotel should be one on your checklist here in Singapore. These places are renowned for their unique decorative tea-sets. With its savory taste and fragrant aroma, your weariness for the day will truly melt away. 

Tips: Get a reservation at least a few days in advance since you will have to expect long queues if you choose to walk-in.

Insta-spots

Though an island of sophistication and technology, Singapore still has its own insta-worthy spots though some may be tricker to find.Not only at the major attractions, you will also come across picturesque places as you wander along the streets of Singapore.

Local Dishes

If you like spice and seafood, you’ll love Singapore local dishes, some of which include chilli crab, stingray, sambal kangkong, chicken rice, lala (cockles) and satay. You can dine at restaurants or if you just wanna taste a bit of everything at one place, be sure to check out food villages at Newton, East coast, Changi or Serangoon.

Tips: My favorite is the one at Newton. There you can get an ice-cold beer that straight away forms into a slushie when poured into a glass.

Sentosa

Sentosa is termed Singapore’s favourite playground since it holds several amenities- action-themed parks, the beach, resorts, attractions, adventure & activities, restaurants and also a Casino. So, if you want to explore Sentosa, you will need to set aside at least three days: one for the beach & activities, another one for The Universal Studio and the 3rd day for the remaining attractions (Trick Eye Museum, Sea Aquarium, Cable car, etc)

Tips: If you have extra time, don't forget to check out "Tanjong Beach Club"; sip a drink or two there and enjoy the sunset.

Culture

Singapore is a country with a multicultural society. So, it’s not surprising that you will come across houses of worship from different religions, clustered within a few minutes’ drive away from each other. No matter which religion you are from, you will be warmly welcomed there – be it Temple, Church, Monastery or Mosque. 

Tips: If you happen to be around the Temple (from the photo), don't forget to try sichuan food just around the corner along the new bridge road, or if it's Mosque, you can dine turkish cuisine and try their signature turkish tea just outside and finally if you're around the Church, this is where Peninsula Plaza (or Singapore's little Burma) is located

Le Metropolitan

The main reason we always choose Paris over other cities is to see the beautiful Eiffel Tower. Many hotels are standing around Eiffel and offer different views.  And it is very difficult to get the room with Eiffel view in Paris since many tourists are looking for it. So, Try to book in advance!

Let’s talk about Le Metropolitan. This hotel is located at one of the richest area in Paris. It is quiet and the hotel itself is very good for honeymoon. Even through it is just a small boutique hotel, their rooms are always fully booked especially Eiffel tower suite. Because of its unique stunning Eiffel view, you may never want to leave the room. 

I was lucky and got a chance to book their eiffel suite room on last December 2019. The suites comes with one bottle of champagne. Sip a glass and enjoy the lights show with your loved one. 

The view is fantastic. The staff was so kind and courteous. The private underground pool and steam room blew me away. I can’t wait to return.

Phang Nga Bay လှေထွက်တဲ့နေရာကနေ James Bond Island ကို ၁၅ မိနစ်လောက်ပဲ မောင်းရပါတယ် ရေရေရာရာ ဘာမှတော့မရှိဘူး ရေထဲ ထိုးထွက်နေတဲ့ ကျောက်တောင်ကြီးတွေတော့ အများကြီး James Bond ကားရိုက်ခဲ့လို့ အဲနေရာလေးနာမည်ကြီးပြီး James Bond Island ဖြစ်လာတယ်ထင်ပါတယ် တချို ့လူတွေဓာတ်ပုံရိုက်ရင် လက်ကို သတ်နတ်လိုလို လုပ်ပြီး ရိုက်နေကြာတာပဲ
